A career opportunity is available in the area of reactor fluence analysis. The RAMA Fluence Methodology, developed for EPRI by TransWare Enterprises Inc., is a complete 3D fluence analysis capability that has been approved by the NRC for evaluating fluence in light water reactors. The Methodology, which includes a 3D transport code, nuclide activation and fluence calculator, and extensive model building tools, is now being applied to solve critical issues relating to reactor pressure vessel and component fluence in the nuclear industry. 

Positions currently exist for experienced Nuclear and Mechanical Engineers and Consultants to support and develop product services in the areas of reactor fluence analysis, material degradation, fuel failure analysis, reactor core analysis, and other related nuclear plant activities. The successful candidate should have a proven record in his/her areas of expertise, plus project management and team leadership skills. Aptitudes in methods development and computer programming are a plus. 

The successful candidate should be fluent with computers, modeling, and software development. Skills in Fortran 95/90 programming are desirable. Skills in C/C++ programming and GUI development are a plus. Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems is highly desirable. 

US citizenship is required.
